Terms of Sale

Version 2026-08-18-2 · Effective August 18, 2026

1.Who You're Buying From

Voidwardrobe is a sole proprietorship operating as Voidwardrobe, based in the State of Texas, United States. Every item is sourced, authenticated, photographed, measured, packed and shipped by one person. There is no warehouse and no team.

These Terms of Sale form the agreement between you and Voidwardrobe when you place an order. By completing checkout you confirm you have read and accepted them.

Questions before or after you buy: orders@voidwardrobe.co, or @voidwardrobe on Instagram.

2.What You're Buying: Secondhand, Single-Stock

Every piece listed is secondhand. What's shown in stock is what's actually here — there's no backstock, and once something sells it's gone; there is no guarantee it, or anything comparable, will be relisted.

This describes availability, not a claim that no other example of a given garment exists anywhere in the world — only that this is the one currently being sold here, and it's the only one you'll find on this site. That's still why the policies below are stricter than a typical retail store's: there's no second copy on hand and no replacement if something goes wrong.

Items are pre-owned and, unless a listing explicitly says otherwise, show some degree of wear consistent with age. Vintage and archive garments frequently carry small flaws that are part of their history, not defects.

Each listing states a condition grade and, where relevant, written condition notes describing specific flaws. Photographs are taken of the actual item you will receive — never stock images, never a different example of the same piece.

Please read the condition notes and look closely at the photographs before purchasing. They are the description of the item, and they are what governs the sale.

3.Measurements & Sizing

Garments are measured with a soft tape in centimeters, then converted for display in inches. Both units are shown and both are independently rounded for readability — small variation between the two beyond simple rounding is normal and is not a misdescription.

Where a tagged size is shown, it is reproduced exactly as printed on the garment's label. Tagged sizes on archive, vintage and Japanese labels frequently do not correspond to contemporary US sizing. The listed measurements — not the tag — are the accurate guide to fit.

Buy to the measurements. A garment that fits differently than you hoped, but matches its listed measurements within normal rounding, is not a misdescribed item.

4.Authenticity Guarantee

Every piece is vetted before it is listed. Where a listing includes proof-of-authenticity photographs, those show the actual tags, labels and hardware of the item being sold.

If an item you purchase is demonstrated to be inauthentic, you will receive a full refund including all shipping costs, and the item's return will be arranged and paid for by Voidwardrobe. This guarantee is valid for 2 years from the date of delivery.

A claim under this guarantee must be supported by a written assessment from a recognised authentication service or from the brand itself. A disagreement of opinion, without such support, is not sufficient.

5.Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars. Prices shown in other currencies elsewhere on the site are indicative conversions for convenience only; the amount charged is in USD.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Voidwardrobe never sees or stores your full card number.

Card transactions above a threshold may require additional verification with your bank (3-D Secure) before they can be completed. This is a security measure that protects both of us, and it cannot be skipped.

Your card statement will show a descriptor including VOIDWARDROBE. If you do not recognise a charge, please contact us before contacting your bank — see "If Something Goes Wrong" below.

An order is not accepted until payment has cleared. Voidwardrobe reserves the right to decline and fully refund any order, for any reason, before it ships — including where a transaction fails fraud screening.

6.Shipping, Signature & Risk of Loss

Domestic (US) shipping is free. Orders ship within 2 business days of purchase unless a listing notes otherwise, or unless a genuine real-life circumstance affects that timeline — Voidwardrobe is one person, not a fulfilment warehouse, and will reach out directly if something needs more time. Tracking is provided on every order.

If Voidwardrobe is temporarily unavailable to ship — travel, an emergency, or similar — the site is switched to Vacation Mode. A site-wide notice and a note on every listing will show the date shipping resumes. Orders placed during that window are still accepted and confirmed; they simply ship once that date arrives.

International shipping is quoted at real carrier rates during checkout, and is charged in addition to the item price.

Every order ships insured for its full value wherever the carrier offers insurance on the selected service.

Domestic orders valued at $300 or more ship with signature confirmation required on delivery. This is not optional and cannot be waived. Signature confirmation is not offered by carriers on most international services; those orders ship insured and fully tracked instead.

Orders ship only to the address supplied and verified at checkout. Address changes cannot be made after an order is placed. If you supplied the wrong address, contact us immediately — see Order Cancellation below for what's possible once an order exists.

Risk of loss passes to you on delivery by the carrier to the address you provided. A package marked delivered by the carrier to that address is considered delivered.

International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or tariffs levied by the destination country. These are not included in the price paid and are not refundable by Voidwardrobe.

7.Paying in Two Parts

Some listings offer "Pay in 2" at checkout. Where it's offered, you pay half at checkout and the balance within one hour, and you may use a different card for each half. Where it isn't offered, the full amount is due at checkout.

The two payments are parts of one purchase, not two orders and not duplicate charges. Each appears separately on your statement as VOIDWARDROBE, and the checkout screen states both amounts before you agree to either.

The item is taken off sale as soon as the first payment clears, and is held for you while the balance is outstanding. Nothing ships until both payments have cleared — this protects you as much as me, since a part-paid order has no completed sale behind it.

The hour is short on purpose: the piece is off sale the whole time it's outstanding. If the balance is still unpaid when the hour is up, the order is cancelled, the first payment is refunded in full, and the item goes back up for sale. You're not charged anything and you're welcome to buy it again. The balance link is emailed the moment the first payment clears; if you need longer, message me before the hour is out and it can usually be arranged.

Everything else in these terms — the claim window, the authenticity guarantee, shipping and risk of loss — applies to a split-paid order in exactly the same way, timed from delivery rather than from either payment.

8.Final Sale & the 3-Day Claim Window

All sales are final. Because this is secondhand, single-stock inventory, there are no exchanges — a sold item cannot be swapped for another size or colour, since there's no backstock or duplicate of it on hand.

Returns are not accepted for change of mind, for fit, or because a garment looked different in person than you imagined from photographs. Please use the measurements and condition notes before you buy.

There is one exception. If an item arrives materially different from its listing — a significant undisclosed flaw, or the wrong item entirely — contact us within 3 days of delivery with photographs showing the issue. Confirmed material misdescription is refunded in full, including original and return shipping.

"Material" means a difference that would reasonably have changed your decision to buy. A flaw already disclosed in the listing text or visible in the listing photographs is not a material misdescription. Damage that occurs after delivery is not covered here — see Lost, Delayed & Stolen Packages for damage that occurs in transit, which is handled through carrier insurance instead.

Returned items must arrive in the same condition they were sent, unworn beyond trying on, with all tags and packaging intact. An item returned worn, altered, laundered or damaged will not be refunded.

9.Lost, Delayed & Stolen Packages

Every order ships insured. If tracking shows a package as lost or damaged in transit, contact us and a claim will be filed with the carrier; you will be refunded in full once the claim is resolved, and often sooner.

Carrier delays are outside anyone's control and are not grounds for a refund on their own. A package still in transit is not a lost package.

If tracking shows a package as delivered to the address you provided but you did not receive it, this is a theft claim rather than a shipping failure. Report it to the carrier and to your local police. Voidwardrobe will provide all shipping and delivery documentation to support your claim, but cannot refund an order the carrier has confirmed as delivered.

This is precisely why signature confirmation is required on higher-value domestic orders, and why every order ships insured.

10.Order Cancellation

Orders cannot be cancelled by the buyer once placed, whether or not the order has shipped yet. Please make sure of your order — brand, size, address, and payment method — before completing checkout.

Voidwardrobe may still decline and fully refund an order at its own discretion before it ships, for reasons including failed fraud screening — see Pricing & Payment above. That is a right reserved by Voidwardrobe, not a cancellation option available to the buyer.

If you made a genuine mistake — the wrong address, a duplicate order — contact us immediately. This isn't covered by a formal policy, but reaching out quickly, before an item ships, is always worth doing.

11.If Something Goes Wrong — Contact Us First

If there is any problem with your order, contact orders@voidwardrobe.co or @voidwardrobe before you contact your bank. Messages are answered quickly, usually the same day.

Nearly every issue — a delay, a question about condition, an address problem, an unrecognised charge — is resolved faster and more completely by asking directly than by filing a card dispute, which takes banks weeks or months to adjudicate.

If a refund is owed to you under these terms, you will get it. You do not need to go through your bank to make that happen.

12.Chargebacks

Filing a card dispute for a reason covered by these terms — including change of mind, fit, a flaw that was disclosed in the listing, a package confirmed delivered by the carrier, or a purchase you made and later regretted — is a breach of this agreement.

Voidwardrobe documents every transaction thoroughly: the listing exactly as shown to you at purchase, your acceptance of these terms with timestamp, payment authentication records, photographs of your specific item being packed, and full carrier tracking with delivery and signature confirmation. This documentation is submitted in response to any dispute.

Buyers who file disputes without first attempting to resolve the issue directly may be refused future service.

None of this affects your genuine rights. If an item really was misdescribed, inauthentic, or never arrived, the policies above already cover you — and asking directly is faster.

13.Your Information

Information collected at checkout — name, email, phone, shipping and billing address — is used to fulfil your order, to communicate with you about it, and to document the transaction. It is never sold.

Records of a transaction, including technical details of the payment and delivery, are retained for as long as necessary to handle potential disputes, which card networks allow to be raised for up to 18 months after purchase.

Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored by Voidwardrobe.

14.Governing Law

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from a purchase shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Texas, United States.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

Voidwardrobe's total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
