Fall/Winter 2006 Lambskin Multi-Pocket Bomber Jacket

The Story

D&G was Dolce & Gabbana's younger, louder line. It ran from 1994 until the house folded it into the main label in 2012. The Fall/Winter 2006 men's show was held at the Metropol in Milan in January 2006, with a ship's wheel on the set. Vogue's Tim Blanks described it as sailors meeting disco: boys in crystal-studded Madonna tees on the same runway as a crew in worn, frayed nautical clothes. This is an alternate version of one of the leather bombers from that show. The runway jacket was stacked with bellows pockets. This one has two bellowed chest pockets with zip flaps and two slanted zip hand pockets, plus a shirt collar, rib-knit hem, snap cuffs and a striped lining.
