The Story

Today I’ve got two variations of one of the rarest and most sought-after versions of If Six Was Nine’s SBB (super bell bottom). These pants are loaded with detail: cultural beadwork, gemstones, sashiko repairs, mixed metal and layered fabrics. This is the “DX”, or deluxe, version of the tuxedo, which pairs pinstripe fabric with the details you see on most mud max pairs plus loads of additional elements. The deluxe models across If Six Was Nine’s catalog carry the most detail and show how passionate about ancient cultural craftsmanship the designer was. In my opinion that makes them some of the best reflections of what the brand is about.
